In 2013, for my final January term class at Chapman, I was fortunate enough to make it into the “Darwin and the Galapagos” travel course to the Galapagos Islands. I actually found out 3 days before Christmas break that I was going to be able to take someone’s spot and I immediately said yes and began preparing for yet another trip of a lifetime.
On January 10th, I arrived at LAX for a 6am flight to Quito, Ecuador with a stop in Miami. The next day we flew to the islands and hit the ground running for our 10 day stay in the islands. I should probably just bullet point the islands we visited and what we did because I have an 80 page notebook documenting everything we did and there’s no easy way to summarize all that!
